TEACHING AT CASTILLEJA

At this time, we are in search of a one-semester sabbatical leave replacement to teach one section of introductory Biology and two sections of Advanced Biology. We are seeking an innovative, inclusive educator to engage our students in a rigorous, explorative curriculum that promotes collaborative learning, scientific literacy, and curiosity. This is an exciting teaching opportunity for a visionary teacher who is passionate about educating girls and preparing them to succeed in STEM fields and elsewhere. As a Department, we strive to engender and extend an interest in science while simultaneously providing students with an understanding of fundamental scientific principles and modes of thinking, fostering both scientifically literate citizens and future scientists.

Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education and skill level. The salary for this one-semester, 75% time position ranges from $31,519 to $46,875
