The goal of the Computer Science & Engineering Department is for students to develop technical competency, literacy, and problem solving skills. We are looking for applicants who are determined to generate interest in pursuing Computer Science beyond high school and increase the representation of women in Computer Science majors and careers. This CS teacher will teach a Java programming course for ninth graders and Upper School elective courses, such as advanced Java programming, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and/or iPhone software development.

Key Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience and/or commensurate professional experience
Proficiency with technology in and out of the classroom
Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study

• Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education and skill level. The yearly salary for this position ranges from $82,700 to $125,000
